Bangkok has more licensed cannabis dispensaries than anywhere else in Thailand: 1,700 shops on the government register, 19% of the country's total. Choice is not the problem here. Knowing which shop is actually licensed, and which one is worth the trip, is.
The register shows where the licensed shops really are. Sukhumvit, from Nana to Ekkamai, has the densest cluster in the centre of the city, followed by Silom and Sathorn, Khao San and the Old Town, and the Phra Khanong and On Nut stretch. Most licences, though, sit outside the tourist zones, spread across the city's outer districts. That is why a licensed shop near your hotel may not appear on any list you have seen.
One thing to know before you go: 582 Bangkok licences carry a 31 December 2026 expiry date. The status of every shop is shown below, so check before you buy, and check again in the new year. If you only want the shops that passed every test, start with the curated lists, built from 900+ visits.

From DTAM's Medical Cannabis GIS, licensed retail outlets only (updated October 2026). A licence shown as valid means the shop is on the register, not that we have visited or recommend it. For the shops that passed every test, use the curated lists.
