Phuket is Thailand's second biggest cannabis market after Bangkok: 1,058 licensed dispensaries on the government register, 12% of all the licensed shops in the country, on a single island.
Patong alone has 304 licensed shops, more than most Thai provinces. Phuket Town, Kata and Karon, and Chalong and Rawai come next, with smaller clusters along the west coast beaches from Kamala to Bang Tao and up towards the airport.
That density cuts both ways. Around Bangla Road, shops compete on neon and price rather than on licences and consultations. A licensed shop with a practitioner on site can issue your PT33 in about 15 to 30 minutes, and a shop that skips that step is not doing you a favour. Check the name against the list below before you buy. 281 Phuket licences expire on 31 December 2026, so the status shown here matters.

From DTAM's Medical Cannabis GIS, licensed retail outlets only (updated October 2026). A licence shown as valid means the shop is on the register, not that we have visited or recommend it. For the shops that passed every test, use the curated lists.
